Sport & PE
As a department we believe our extra-curricular provision is second to none. We pride ourselves on the amount of time given to the students and on the breath and standard of students' achievement at all levels. All staff within the department are committed to this process because we believe it’s' value cannot be overstated. Whether students participate for competition, for fun, for fitness, or use the activities as a pastime, we believe our present programme offers students, the opportunity to contribute to the ethos of the school and gives them genuine links to clubs and the community for a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
Competitive Sporting activities at Boswells include football, netball, rugby, volleyball, cricket, athletics, basketball, gymnastics, badminton, swimming, rounders, futsal, and tennis.
Extra Curricular activities take place:
- Before School 7:45-8:30am
- Lunchtime 13:20-14:00pm
- After School 3pm onwards
- Saturday Mornings
The Boswells' trophy cabinet testifies to the excellence of our teams who, year after year, maintain the school's tradition of success at district, county and national level.
