2022
The 成品视频 and A Level results of 2022 marked another superb year for The 成品视频 and Sixth Form with our 成品视频 and A Level results making us one of the highest performing non-selective secondary schools in Essex. These results are detailed below:
At 成品视频 level, our Year 11 students again made more progress from their starting points when they entered the school than students nationally.
83% of all students achieved a ‘good pass’ (Grade 4+) in English (either Language or Literature or both) and 82% of students achieved a good pass in Mathematics, with 83% of students achieving a good pass in Science (Across either Triple or Combined Science). These measures are significantly above the national averages for these subject areas, as was the percentage of students achieving a ‘strong pass (Grade 5+). We are also delighted that a number of students achieved Grade 9 in both of these subjects and that 34% of our students achieved the English Baccalaureate (compared to 24% nationally – 2021 data).

There were also a number of outstanding results in other 成品视频 subjects that were also significantly above the national average. Art & Design, Business Studies, Computer Science, Dance, Geography, German, History, Music, Religious Education and Spanish all achieved grades well above the national average. It is also extremely pleasing to note that over 34% of all grades awarded to our students were awarded a grade 7 or above and that the percentage of our students achieving at least one grade 9 was well above the national average.
After a period without public examinations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is very pleasing to note that our students, once again, performed outstandingly. As well as securing such a high percentage of 成品视频 grades, I am also delighted that our Progress Measures and Value Added scores are so positive. This reflects the fact that all our students perform well above their target grades. We are a comprehensive school and our Progress Measures show that, regardless of academic ability on entry to the school, all our students perform well above the levels of progress expected.
Our A Level results were once again excellent and our 3 year ALPS rating is a grade 2, which means the progress made by our Sixth Form students consistently ranks within the top 10% of post-16 providers nationally and achieve well above the national averages in terms of attainment. 71% of all grades awarded were at A*-B, 94% of all grades were at A*-C and 100% of all grades awarded were pass grades in the 27 A Level subjects that the school offers. Our BTEC Level 3 results were also outstanding with no student achieving less than a ‘Distinction’: and 73% achieving a Distinction* .

2021
For summer 2021, exam boards asked schools and exam centres to generate, for each subject, teacher assessed grades (TAGs) for their students. Teachers submitted grades to the exam boards, based on their assessment of what students had shown they know and can do, enabling students to progress to the next stage of their education, training, or employment. The 成品视频 achieved outstanding results at 成品视频 and A level, which built upon an excellent and long standing reputation for achieving high levels of academic success.
2020
In the summer of 2020, students did not sit formal examinations, and instead received centre assessment grades (CAGs). Students at The 成品视频 achieved outstanding results at 成品视频 and A level, which builds on an excellent and long standing reputation for achieving high levels of academic success.

Both of these measures are significantly above the national averages for these subject areas, as was the percentage of students achieving a ‘strong pass (Grade 5+). We were also delighted that a number of students achieved Grade 9 in both of these subjects and that 35% of our students achieved the English Baccalaureate (compared to 24% nationally – 2018 data).
