Year 7 Greek Theatre Project!

Drama have kicked off the new whole school DEAR strategy with their Greek Theatre project. All students will be working on producing their own dramatic performances of Greek myths, using the key chorus skills they learnt last half term.

We kicked off the scheme with a silent ‘Drop everything and read’ activity where each student read the story of the Greek myth they will be performing. Just to ensure all had completed the activity, and really attempted to take in the information, we took part in an interactive quiz afterwards. Each member of each group had to answer a question based on what they had read about their myth; starting easy and getting harder. The points awarded were added up for the DEAR winners in each tutor group.

A great way to start our Greek myth exploration, well done Year 7.
