Year 7 & 8 Careers Visit!

BAE Systems, The Royal Air Force and The Royal Navy delivered an engaging theatre roadshow celebrating STEM on Monday 31st October.

The performance aimed to inspire and engage students to think about Careers in STEM and the opportunities available.

The theme was Magnetism, the presentation involved explaining how the integration of magnets, magnetism and electromagnetism is in our everyday life.

The students said they really enjoyed the presentation, here is some of the feedback received below:

“ I enjoyed the presentation and learnt many things from it.” “ Very inclusive and very funny presentation.”

67% of the students strongly agreed, and 33% agreed, that they had learnt about how magnets relate to jobs in different industries.
