John Lewis Home Design Workshop

In October over 60 Art and Production students completed a workshop with the Interior design team from John Lewis Chelmsford. The students were asked to create a mood board in response to the workshop, on a room of their choice. They had to incorporate imagery of furniture, lighting, fabrics and textures. Colour, finishes and artwork also had to be considered. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to have a taste of interior design and learn about how to get into that industry and how studying Art at ³ÉÆ·ÊÓƵ would aid this. Thank you so much to Amanda, Layla and Emma for taking time out to work with our students on this project!

The team from John Lewis selected a winning mood board and four runners up. The winner was asked to come in to the store and receive their prize. The work has been on display in John Lewis for the last week.
