Anti-Bullying Week!

Mon 26 Nov 2018

On Monday the 12th of November, some of the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors where invited along to the Alexandra Palace where we learned how to become better supporters for those who need it. The day was an amazing experience and we learnt so much from a range of activities on how to become better Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, it also reminded us why we want to help and support our fellow students. We met a lot of inspiring people on the trip including a Holyoaks actress who told us about her childhood, growing up ,experiencing bullying. There was also lots of other inspirational people including : a finalist on the X factor , loose women presenter, professional dancers, and social media companies. They each had a different story to tell.

The anti bully ambassadors (ABAS) offer help and support towards younger students of the school. The Anti-Bullying team can offer support to children who need it; they offer their time to talk to younger students about any issues they may be having. The most common issues may involve online bullying, direct bullying or just needing someone to talk to. That is what the anti bullying ambassadors are for! Many of the ABAS have experienced some sort of bullying so they are able to provide the help that they may of received or not received. Either way the ABAS are definitely beneficial to the 成品视频 and will help the lower school students feel a lot safer and happier.

Overall the day was great! The ABAS learnt the importance of overcoming bullying and how to help in difficult situations. The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are determined to make a difference and support those students who need our support.
