9 to 5: A Great Success!!

Last week The 成品视频 saw this years’ annual whole school production ‘9 to 5’. It involved approximately 12 students; either performing; in the cast or orchestra, or in design/technical roles.
This years’ choice of musical was a very different style and content to what we and the students are used to. The production is based on inequality in the workplace in the 1970’s and the plot is based around three strong women fighting against misogyny, for ‘change’. The mature themes and the 1970’s setting is something we have challenged to students to approach and present, and they have accepted this task with vigour and maturity. The production was written by Dolly Parton herself and features her at the start and end of the show.
Staff, parents and students from across the school have been working on this production from the start of September and the set, props, lighting, sound, costume, makeup, orchestra and marketing & publicity are all a team effort which combine together to create the fantastic production we showcased last week.
The PAC Arts staff are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you; you were absolutely amazing and we really hope you enjoyed your experience and had fun (amongst all the hard work!).
